The Paneer Wrap is made famous by the food retail chain McDonald’s. It is on their menu in almost every outlet in India. Kids are crazy about it, and not just kids, people of every age love this unique recipe. And since It is Paneer, I love it too, so here is my version of the recipe, I have tried to keep the preparation method as simple as possible using the utensils and tools that will help you prepare this delicious recipe in your own kitchen.
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
FOR OUTER BATTER.
- CORN FLAKES
- BREAD CRUMBS
- SALT
- RED CHILI POWDER
FOR THE BATTER.
- ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
- CORN FLOUR
- SALT
- PEPPER POWDER
- OREGANO HERBS
- MEXICAN SEASONING
- WATER
FOR PANEER TIKKI.
- PANEER
- OIL
FOR THE WRAP.
- CHAPATTI/TORTILLA
- VEGGIES (optional)
- MAYONNAISE
- SOUTHWEST
PROCEDURE:
- Mix all the ingredients(given in the batter section)in a bowl the batter should contain flowing consistency. Take Crushed Cornflakes and bread crumbs in a seperate plate.
- Slice the Paneer. Dip it in the Batter and coat it well with Crushed Cornflakes and Bread Crumbs. Do this step until the paneer is coated well. Keep it in the freezer for one or 2 hours.
- Deep fry the paneer in the oil until it turns golden-brown.
- Take a Tortilla/Chappati Spread some South West and Mayo or any choice of sauces you like place some veggies of your choice and the paneer wrap it and grill it for 4–5 mins in the toaster.
